Memorial Day

Even though I’d rather we not have to sacrifice our men and women being away from us and dying in wars, I am glad we have Memorial/Veterans Day to honor and remember those men and women for their service.

I believe it’s also important to thank and remember their families because their families sacrifice their loved ones for us to have the freedoms we have.

Take some time in what’s left of today to thank a wife, daughter, son, mother, father or a family member who has lost someone in battle. You never know how much it may mean to the person you thank that you remember their loved one’s sacrifice and that you would risk bringing up something that’s not always easy to say.
